4.0.4 is out!

Author: Get v4.0.4 with CM Updater! This is a minor update. There are some bug fixes for the settings FC and possibly for the phone number matching issue. Also included is a backport of some of the Donut process scheduling code. This should reduce ANRs caused by nasty background applications.

- @m0unds I'm pretty sure senseui chops it into 8 or 10 units and regular Android just shows 5

- @kosi2801 I've seen some options like succession enable when they aren't supposed to be enabled. Going to try and track it down.

Anybody else having problems with the screen re-orienting itself? When I open the screen, it switches to landscape, but when I close the screen, it stays in landscape.
I remember him saying something about writing roms with speed in mind and as far as I understand flash player is really slow

Works great man! I do have some issues with Home not responding, but I’ve narrowed it down to a finnicky widget.
Now I badly want to learn to create themes. Not a big fan of the available themes out right now. They look good, just not for me.

I just tried to update from .0.2 to .0.4 using the updater. It downloaded about have way when the screen cut off by itself and rebooted. Now it says I have a damaged SD Card and it obviously didn’t apply the update. Went to run the updater and of course I couldn’t download the update because I no longer have a valid SD card. What happened and do I have to partition my card again now?
Really interested in trying this out, but as I have a 32A I seem to be out of luck… Is there anything I can do to help with the custom kernel building?
First off great work. The rom is fine, fast & stable. (Q) when is there going to be a new revocery img. (Suggestion) you should take off the update via update.zip or hide it. Again thanks for all your work keep it up

Hi! Thx for your work, it’s a great staff. unfortunately when I choose polish language, I have problem with force close: touch input app – every time when I use onscreen keybord.
I really dont think Flash Player is a good idea. i think it would cause more problems than its worth.

A little help…when I update using CM updater on the phone, it gets to the point of “writing BOOT” and sits there. The options pop backup to reboot, apply update.zip…etc. Its been sitting for 30 min. and I do not want to choose reboot as it may brick…correct? Any input please.
I’ve updated to 4.0.4 twice, now, and both times I lose everything on all home screens. If I drag apps out or put widgets on or whatever and reboot, I lose everything again.
I’m good, I went back to my last good 4.0.2 backup – just wanted to report. I’m on a myTouch, BTW.

using CM-updater,
it dowloads it,after you click install, it reboot the phone in recovery mode, but cannot find the zip file, and do not do anything after you reboot..
solution is after the reboot in recovery mode, go to console mode
cd /sdcard
cp cm-updates/* .
reboot
go in recovery mode
Apply any zip from sd card
choose the rev you want to apply….
I do no know why cm-updater do not work correctly
hey all. Lovin the rom. Anyone had any issues with the volume rocker not working in call?
I have the black tmobile G1. I rooted it and flashed the newest recovery img. I downloaded cyanogen 4.0.4 but when I hit alt+s it opens the update but then it says it was aborted cause its not signed and that’s it. What am I doing wrong? Can anyone help me?
