just flashed 4.1.1 and I can’t type in the search bar widget. Just thought you’d like to know. Thanks for all your hard work!!!

  • Flashfox:

Does your flash support Blue Tooth Voice Dialing? If not, is it because there still is no appropriate BT stack for Android? (BTW, nice effort… I really like 4.0.4 and I am looking forward to 4.1)

I truely miss this feature especially here where we are not allowed to use a cellphone while driving. Even the G1′s core voice dialer is a joke (forces you to select no matter how clear you are) compared to Windows Mobile devices. I am crossing my fingers in the hope that a proper BT stack will be made available for Android based phones like this G1.

    Amazoing, thanks dude!

  • happy:

don’t forget to update the changelog section for your new experimental builds! also, thank you for all your hard work! it is greatly appreciated!

  • Davey:

Global search has been working great on my g1 and is an awesome feature to search both my g1 and the internet.

@cyanogen: possible bug of fc with global search when switching from virtual keyboard to qwerty. These updates have been awesome :D

  • Sean:

Hey, don’t know if it’s only me, but assorted apps including cm updater can’t seem to gain root access. not huge, just throwing that out there.

  • thomas:

have had all kinds of problems since installing 4.1.1: cant access market or checkdownloads, keeps trying to forceclose Home, screens freeze, have tried to reinstall 4.0.3, but cant seem to finish when it checks for MD5, cmupdater will download a different version but cannot complete the update, i have tried to wipe and re-establish with google and start over but having problems there also. any ideas?

  • Bear Knuckle:

It won’t update, no matter what I try… I downloaded the update to 4.1.1 and tried to apply it, but the phone still shows me V 4.0.1 as my installed mod.

I also tried to install manually via boot menu and choosing the update via “Install any zip from sd”. It is “installed” (so says the output: verifying, formatting, copying, etc.) but it’s never applied.

    What am I doing wrong?

  • lo0l:

same issue as mentioned above – after applying update it says you have 4.o.1 installed (in settings-about phone and in CM update app). probably just typo. =)

  • Darcy:

Hoping you can help me out.
When trying to use CM Updater to update, the program superuser permissions keeps force closing, so I can’t authorize Root to reboot into recovery.

    What should I check?

    And GREAT work!

Well, nevermind. Used recovery to install any zip and updated to 4.0.3 from 4.0.1. This fixed my SU problem, and I am currently installing 4.1.1 via CM Updater. Awaiting final reboot now.

too laggy but looks great and global search is awesome feature waiting for stable rom

    keep it up!

Am I the only one not able to use any wifi tether app. with 4.1.1? I honestly had not tried to use tether with the last few ROM’s, so I don’t know when this started. I’ll go back a few updates and see what the last one it works with. I did update the SPL, but that shouldn’t have had any affect.

Love the great work. My wife can actually use my phone with out losing her mind now!

  • robert:

I have the 41.2.1 and the browser would not work until I rebotted it again and all is fine. The widgets for the tcalendar has to be reset every reboot. All other is perfect. Good job! : )

  • Michael Adick:

aHome 3.6.2 force closes continuously on CM 4.1.2.1

  • Michael Adick:

sorry, delete my comment on aHome force closure.
I believe I haven’t been patient when updating to CM 4.1.2.1 and this may have caused the trouble
I have since downgraded back to 4.04. and all is fine

  • mrp0428:

What’s the timing on this ROM becoming stable?

  • Nice work! Can you put your local-manifest.xml file on github please? Thanks.

  • Andrew Ward:

This update is a very good one. Does a lot towards fixing the lag I was getting when using the keyboard in landscape mode when writing in website forms.

  • Andrew Ward:

Also it would be good to have a keyboard that supports multi touch. I find that the main reason I miss type things in landscape mode is as a result of me not taking my thumb off of the screen fast enough.

  • To a beginner this sounds intringuing, since simple groups are very natural objects to define, whereas vertex algebras seem more convoluted. ,
