Working hard on the new N1 build, and also have plans to backport some of the work to the 4.2 build.
In any case, thanks for playing along. The community that’s developed around CM and Android in general is amazing.

- @m0unds I'm pretty sure senseui chops it into 8 or 10 units and regular Android just shows 5
- @mytharak Log.wtf in Android is a good one, and actually useful for those "// this should never happen" moments
- @kosi2801 I've seen some options like succession enable when they aren't supposed to be enabled. Going to try and track it down.
- @raitchison there's bloatware?
- @kosi2801 userinit should run right after the filesystems are mounted and before the runtime starts

Good to hear you’re back at it but I think the 4.2 build should be higher priority than the nexus one. Your userbase is far far greater for it, etc and we have been waiting patiently since January! Besides the nexus is blazingly fast anyway and doesn’t need your expertise in streamlining. Come back to 4.2 Cyan, please!
Speaking personally I’m most looking forward to getting flash on my G1 so progress on this might persuade me into making another donation to the fund!

How can I install this firmware on my android phone? I’ve been searching the site but I haven’t found a guide or a howto. Could somebody point me in the right direction?
I’ve got the new 5.0.5.6, and now my setcpu1.5.0a wont let me overclock past 600mhz. I have tried all settings “autodetect, droid, and even N1″ Any ideas?

i’m writing because there’s one nagging problem i’m noticing on my g1 running 4.2.15.1 – around a day or so after a reboot my email sync seems to lag and stop. rebooting the phone gets it going again, but… is anyone else having this problem? anyone working on it?

Thank goodness! Could you fix it so the data connection is not lost when we are on the phone while using navigation? Just updated Maps and this is now happening.
G1 love please! You may be enjoying the glory of the N1, but I bet dollars to donuts there are far more G1 than N1 owners…
Steve, as everyone – I think you should concentrate on G1 and other donuts, because N1 isn’t THAT popular.
