Here’s a new update for the Dream/Magic! Lots of bugs fixed, new Music and DeskClock apps from Eclair, improved stability.

Get it with CM Updater and check out the XDA Developers thread!

    ya it messed my g1 up it was constantly force closing and my home button wouldnt work i even wiped. so i had to unroot my phone.

    I have a Mytouch G2, and on the space that was the Alarm Clock appear the empty box icon. On manage application I clicked on the app and the phone displayed a message that the app doesn’t exist. :-(

    GREAT! just great! the 4.2.13 didnt work for me, so i was using 4.2.9, i think! but this runs pretty nice and stable..so far:) fast interface, very good browser, mt workin as it supposed to. i only havent tried file transfer over BT, but i dont use it anyway…

    The last 2 updates .13 and .14 have killed multi touch for me in browser & in Gallery. Any1 else having same issues?

    this update works great compared to .13 :) <—000 that one totally jacked up shit lol anyhow , yeah cyanogen this update is back to normal and running great thank you from the bottom of my heart. :)

    Looks and works great. The new clock app works just fine, but seems unnecessary how you an view pics and music..

    Also, for me it seems that it always takes at least 30 seconds for Home to load after using the Browser. Anyone else experience that?

    Having the same problem as Mario, music force closes whenever I try to play something. (I can browse my library, but hitting the “play” button produces a second or so of music, and a force close.)
    I’m running on a G1.

    Music also AUTO STARTS as soon as music icon is clicked in the Clock. Any1 having the same issue? :(
    Overall great build and it gets better everytime, just MT is gone and Music auto starts.

    well i have had my g1 since the day it came out and have gone back and forth between root and normal and i have tried almost all roms and you have the most stable roms even more so than tmobile. thank you for all your work and helping keep my phone new, the new 4-2-14 is perfect for my g1 so far and i love the alarm clock. at nite it glows if you turn the backlight off and have it plugged in

    Encounter error “The process com.android.phone has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again” when activating GPRS/EDGE/3G.” on my HTC Magic 32a.

    Overall, performance feels slightly more sluggish than previous builds.

    Otherwise, greate iteration.

    ok this seems to have issues with the speech synthesis * it shuts down my phone and wont let me reboot unless sdcard is removed* also it wigs out when i use the search bar on home screen. any suggestions?

    it runs smooth. Phone application, contacts are not hanging anymore. … pretty good.

    THE PROBLEM IS: where is alarm clock?
    Can we download this application somewhere?
    Is there any alternate alarm clock that we can use in the meantime?
    ufff….

    Thanks cyanogen for this great release. Heaps faster than the sluggish .13 one previous. I love the new Clock app in place of the alarms app, #21 is right, you press the backlight button on the app to dim it down and the clock glows under darkness. Fantastic stuff.

    Anyone? I use an app “http://sites.google.com/site/paranoidandroidproject/” i always did, but in the new cymod when i use the clock app. it won’t show the clock instead it show the app contact info. The alarm work but i would like to see the clock instead of the info….

    ive been using for a full day and i must say that i am happy with it. imagine i came from 4.2.5 and this is the only 1 i liked so far after 4.2.5 the Multi touch i think is more responsive in the browser. and the 3rd party screen brightness bug is finally fixed! yey! now i can grow plants again with my flashlight! what i found helpful to avoid apps not working is run fix_permissions and when it comes to apps not downloading quickly in the ,arket, you just have to manually sign in/out/resign in to gtalk. THE ALARM CLOCK is NOW CALLED “CLOCK” hope you guys enjoy this version as much as i do!

    Is it just me?

    The 4.2.14.1 update didn’t appear on CM Updater at the same time it did on the web. I downloaded it yesterday and was going to update today (I wanted to wait for a few more comments to come in), but when I refreshed CM Updater today (to check if there was a 4.2.14.2 update) the 4.2.14.1 update actually disappeared from CM Updater’s list.

    Was 4.2.14.1 pulled or is my CM Update being temperamental?

    (I know I can just flash it from the SD card, but I’d like to know if it’s been pulled due to a bug first)

    I have the same problem as before with my G1.
    When I unlock the phone it has, about 30 sec delay
    until it responds.
    This problem exists for the last five versions.
    I am using VER 4.2.7.1.
    One more issue I discover, when you use the Google
    search in Hebrew you will see question marks (?)
    and not letter under the text you writing.
    This version is very fast and nice but I
    cannot use it due to the annoying delay.

    @interlard: when you say you can’t find it do u mean you didn’t see it on your downloaded list to apply? If that’s the case, when u downloaded it but didn’t apply it and when u came back at a laterr time to apply, its not in ur dl list, the fix should be to delete some of your downloaded updates in ur cm updater..delete some old updates and try to redownload. If this is not ur issue, I’m sorry

    I’m curious if anyone know if there would be any issues if upgrading from 4.2.12.2 to 4.2.14.1 or if it’s better to go in sequence. 4.2.12.2 to 4.2.13 to 4.2.14.1

    Updated from 4.2.13 to 4.2.14.1 and added the 10mb hack.

    Very fast rom!!!

    No problems detected in 2 days of work.

    The new Clock app is very pretty but it gives more time than the previous to switch on and off the Alarms!

    Thx m8. I’m using your mods on Magic for 3 months, and this is best working one. Keep on good work, and hope to see some 2.1 mods that works on Magic, once you have all drivers.

    New Rom is great. Very fast boot :) Everything works fine on 32A.
    Just one thing missing – Scummvm? Any chances getting it fix? :)

    There seems to be something wrong with the Music player… It crashes each time it goes to the playing screen. When I open it and see the list of songs it is fine but the moment I try to start playing the music and you see the screen is the play button it force closes each time.

    Very slow .13 works a lot better some errors can’t. Open keyboard and search for contacts..

    After 2 days of running it and seeing other comments, I too am seeing the Music player and Dialer FC right after opening. One other thing is that my touch screen is unresponsive from time to time. It is not just the .14 version, it has done the same thing on other CM ROM versions. Anyone else seeing that?

    Same here MT is very slow and unresponsiveness music player bugs all over don’t even open I get home force closed on me eight time a day half the time I don’t even get 3g when I used to get five bar all the time switching between screens is choppy now damn man 13. Was way better apps2sd is hella slow even with a class six card I don’t know man kinda needs a fix badly this rom is on hay wire still. Bow down cm roms are the best you’ll fix it soon
