CM-5.0 for the Nexus One is out and now stable! Mostly bugfixes over beta5 and a new boot animation from Prash.

    The radio image is a separate download and flash from the 5.0 update. You’ll have to update the radio image via fastboot.

    WOW this new CyanogenMod-5 for Nexus One (STABLE) Latest version: 5.0.2-N1 – 02/14/2010 is totally Awesome as seems i got a very nice present for myself downloading this new update. thank you very much!!!! continue ur good work. i guess Google company have to say thank you too since they’re very slow in developing this software.

    @chris I had to look this up myself.

    -put the radio image where fastboot can find it
    -then open up console and type:
    fastboot flash radio Radio_20100203_2_Signed_PASSION.img

    After upgrade, google voice and maps show as installed in market, do not show in “manage apps” , do not show up in the apps menu, and in market the “uninstall” button is greyed out.

    Any help?

    Love the mod. Love the ease of upgrade once it’s up and running, but please talk to Dataviz guys about getting Sheets to Go working. My phone sucks without a decent spreadsheet app. Thanks really.

    Yes, he’s still working on G1/myTouch updates.
    No, he’s not going to push 2.x onto these platforms until he can make sure it all works and is above board.

    I cant seem to flash the radio image. I tried the above steps it didn’t work. Doesn’t the phone have to be in fastboot mode to do this?

    If you live in Japan you don’t use SMS, but email for all mobile communication. 100% of all non-smart phones don’t have the display name for email accounts filled in, meaning they link the name to display in the inbox to the phonebook entry. Android STILL fails to do that simple task.
    I am getting an email from lovebird09.25.1981@…… asking if I want to go for beers tonight!
    How can I answer the question if I don’t even know who’s asking me?

    I’m so tempted… I have a MyTouch3G on a family plan. I want the N1, but the only way to get is to fork over the $530. Is it worth it?

    vladuz976: Why don’t you write a patch for Android to do this then, especially if its as simple as you proclaim? Alternatively, have you filed it as a bug report/wishlisted item? Thats as easy as and more effective than posting some vitriol on a developer’s blog.

    @vladimir. I personally have g1. Mytouch3g. And an iPhone 3gs. To be honest I couldn’t upgrade either so I paid full price 640$ after taxes and shippment. I don’t regret it one bit. Nexus one best phone….. trust me you can’t go wrong with n1

    I reserved the HTC Desire for $564 to get it as soon as it’s out in germany.
    Hope there will be cyanogenmods for it.

    When I installed cyanogen Rom for my N1 I was getting forcre close all the time, know I’m running HTC Desire Rom, and it’s really cool but still has some problems

    Thanks for this ROM…..first time modder & I managed to apply it relatively easily. Certainly runs better than the stock version.

    May try the radio update at some point?

    What’s with all the boobs wallpaper? Not loving that.

    Is there away to delete it or at least a separate install for people who need to have a set of cyan=boobs on their home screen.

    Great ROM. I second the suggestion to delete the girls wallpaper — my wife and daughter use the phone occasionally and I would prefer none of us had to see that one. Thanks.

    hey guys i’m sorry but i have been looking everywhere online trying to figure out how to unlock the bootloader thing… i’m running windows 7 i dont know if that makes a difference but i dont know how to use any of that stuff..please if you could help a helpless noob i’d appreciate it i’ve rooted 2 g1′s and a mytouch but can’t get it to work on the nexus one
