Doesn’t seem to work. I’m checking using my G1 though so I’m not sure. Thanks for everything Cyanogen.

But don’t disable anonymous editing; that’s just annoying.

A wiki is a great idea! I can’t access it at the moment, but I’m sure you’re just squashing a few bugs first..

Will you still be doing theme templates?

I like CM a lot, the only thing that’s a bit bugging me is the auto-rotation of HOME screen. Is there a way to turn it off without affecting the “general” auto-rotation? thanks,

@yz99
Menu>settings>sound and display>uncheck auto rotation

Awesome Wiki, goob job! Though it assumes (rightfully) that users are a bit more experienced than just your average Joe. In practice, we see many new and inexperienced CM fans, who probably won’t be able to properly “geddit”.. yet! But we’re here to contribute

Hmm.. Entry on rooting is incorrect. I hate to delete someone elses work, but the info provided there can only be used on rooted devices (and not used at all on devices without physical keyboard). Not much helpful if you’re trying to GAIN root access… Anybody actually tried that? I couldn’t make it work as non-root. Running as root, of course opened the localhost:23.

@zhect
that will also disable the auto rotation for the applications.
What I ended up doing was to install ahome instead and got around this issue.

@skrki,
That’s the beautiful think about wiki’s, when you find something that’s not correct, you can “fix” it.
Go ahead, jump in there and make changes. That’s what it’s there for.
If you’re afraid of hurting someone else’s feelings, explain your changes in the page’s discussion area.
Obviously don’t vandalize, but please, do contribute!

I was curious as to whether or not there is a way to increase the bluetooth functionality of the G1. Until recently I hadn’t even noticed that you cannot pair with another handset until I was trying to get a file from a friend of mine. Would there be a way in future updates to make this possible? Just curious, thanks guys. OH, btw, running the 4.1.999…Love it. Thanks for all your hard work, and a better Android!

Awesome! That’s a great way to share information….
I’m holding out to get a new Android phone, but whatever it will be, it will have CyanogenMod on it! If it’s not yet supported, we will make it! Thanks a lot the good work!

@RicFusion
If you have root access there is an app called “Bluetooth file transfer” and i am able to transfer files from and to every other mobile device that’s capable of it.

@Rias
Thanks for that. I had searched around using CM as a part of my search, I never thought to check the market for such a program. Much appreciated.

So where did the issues page go? I wanted to check the status of a couple issues and the page no longer appears to exist.

Hi, love the mods. I have one problem and please direct me if this is the wrong place to bring it up. I have 4.1.9999 now and since 4.1.99 I have had the worst time trying to tether my G1 with bluetooth and “Wireless Tether for root Users”. It worked perfectly with 4.0.4 but I see this is no longer available. Any one else? Perhaps fixed with 4.2?

Though I’m using pre2_htc, maybe the newest one will work too?

It appears that there are still issues with bluetooth. I installed the latest 4.1.9999 on mytouch but it doesn’t recognize jawbone bluetooth headset.
