What’s Coming Next..

Author: A whole bunch of us have been working hard to get Android 2.1 (CM 5.0.7) running perfect on the HTC Dream and Magic phones and I think it’s nearly ready to go. This release is almost exactly the same as the Nexus One and Droid versions of CM now, minus a few of the heavier apps.
This was an incredible community effort and I hope everyone likes the result. Breathing new life into old hardware is always awesome.
I expect that a stable release of 5.0.7 should be ready for all devices in the next few days.
And after that.. Google has confirmed that Android 2.2 (FroYo) will be available for ION phones, so it’s guaranteed that CM-6 will continue to support the G1 also when the source code hits AOSP.

Heya guys…I LOVE your mods…. special warm fuzzy feeling all over for 2.1 for my Mytouch. I’m curios if u all will have a mod for the Mytouch Slide? It could use ure help turning it into a real phone. =)

I just read that the 2.2 update will in fact work on my G1…could this amazing news be so? Will T-Mobile be sending out the updates? If not, how do I update my G1 from the 1.6 firmware to the 2.2 firmware?
Will it need the 10Mb hack?

Yeah, Froyo 2.2 just got leaked over at Droid-Life. They’ve even got a cool ROM available already; but I’m waiting on CM 6, cause the only reason why i wanted to get rooted in the first place, was because i wanted Smoked-Glass Esque ROM on my Motorola Droid.
Cyanogen and team you guys have to be the best thing to happen to MyTouch since, well, since Android.
My MyTouch has been enjoying you guys for a while now and I’m eagerly awaiting CM6!
Froyo is good, but I miss Cyanogen – my Nexus One wants CM6!

Brand new on the android world, but I LOVE this myTouch! Lots of things to learn, but worth every moment spent learning! Just wish the battery lasted longer, but I am doing some of the things people have been recommending and it is getting better. I Went through the nightmare of the LG Incite a while back and this phone is heaven!
My name is Cassie, I am 23 and from Virginia. I’m a Huge technology freak. Just about every time a fresh telephone comes out I get it virtually instantly, I think it’s an addiction. I got the new Sidekick LX 2009 last year, the MyTouch, the Cliq, and now the MyTouch Slide. The Motorola Cliq is really a piece of crap lol sorry, it’s accurate. My old MyTouch I loved, nonetheless, lacked the keyboard that would have produced it excellent. TADA!!?!!!?!!!!!!! Yay, I am IN Really enjoy with this new cell phone. I will honestly admit I do not want a new cell phone!!!!
Work on a Evo rom for android 2.1, or what ever it comes with. Do it! This phone is sick!!!!!!!! Mine is rooted but there are no roms! I have emulater rom which blows! Tethering doesn’t always work. Only shitty iPhones can connect, and other apple crap devices. Please work on it!

Hi there all just discovered the site and thought I’d say hello. I like a whole lot of you are waiting for my Unimaginable to be shipped. I ordered it on-line on 6/9 and they preserve telling me it should ship this Wednesday 6/30. Fingers crossed that it does this ready is killing me! Whilst I really like a bodily keyboard, after coping with the Samsung Captivate for approximately quarter-hour, it is exhausting to move back. Right now I am debating whether to visit Verizon for the Droid X, pass to Dash for the EVO, or stay with AT&T for the Captivate…choices, decisions.
