    i can’t read first news and access menu. there is some shit on top (id lightbox and overlay) that can’t be closed by “close” on safari4@mac and shows nothing but loading icon.

    how long does it usually take when updating to 4.1.5 to “Write Boot…”
    i have a feeling my phone froze in the process. or does it take longer than 15-20 min?

    ok. i think got a problem with the update.
    first it’s doing what it should, showing the update screen (with the progress bar… well… progressing), and when it’s about half through, it switches to the recovery screen (i can scroll through the menu items), and the update process seemed to have stopped at “Writing Boot:…”

    any idea why this is?

    @Luis if you read the release notes, like almost everyone else seems to have, you’d know that the new market isn’t available yet. If it was Cyanogen would have put it in this update.

    Has the orientation animation setting disappeared? I’ve been using it for a while, but it’s starting to get annoying. I updated, and ‘lo and behold, it’s gone. Does anyone know where it’s moved to, or if it’s been removed?

    On mt3g tried going from 4.0.4 to 4.1.5 however I was receiving “problem loading widget errors” so I restored and waited for 4.1.6, I got the same errors so I wiped. I’m still getting the same errors. Am I missing something? I can remove and re-add the widgets and they will work until I restart the phone.

    Searching the forums I see a few post mentioning similar things with this branch but no definitive solutions. I know that more folks have to be seeing it.

    @NPS_CA thanks, yeah, later that night (i am in China right now, so it was 3:00am…) i figured that too.
    I just realized that any experiemental rom (i tried 4.1.2.1 and now 4.1.5) always causes continuous “force close” of aHome 4.6.2 – it may not be the best home replacement, but i got so used to.
    so i guess I will be staying with stable roms for now.
